Most apps of this size do not need a backend. Given one, they acquire sign-ins, password resets, a database of people, and a breach to disclose later. Given none, they acquire none of that. Every project here starts by asking whether the network is needed at all, and usually the answer is no.
What follows from that is not a privacy policy full of promises. It is a privacy policy that is short because there is little to describe.
